Fly-fishing in Val di Tures Aurina in the Selva dei Molini River and in Meggima Lake

During your holidays in Val di Tures Aurina you can try fly-fishing at two stretches of the Selva dei Molini River, the first of which is torrential (5 km) with dips and waterfalls, and the second (4.5 km) leads through lavish vegetation.
You can fish strong, healthy and natural brown trout, rainbow trout and alpine samlet. Only fly-fishing, no/kill with fishhooks without barb.

You can also fly-fish amidst the two stretches in Meggima Lake, an alpine lake at medium height with numerous different types of fish.
However, fish do not give in that quickly, but with patience and effort fun is guaranteed! All techniques with rat-tail are effective. If you fish in the lake you can keep your catch and give it to our skilled chef Chris who will prepare it for your dinner.

If you are not happy with the fishing options in the nearby surroundings, we have the possibility of organising a fishing licence for other reserves. In general the water is clean and ideal for fishing, except for the lake during the period of glacial melt (June/July).
